This inexpensive home-style bar and restaurant is a stone's throw from Montreal's club scene. Club-goers and the elite find it nestled on the corner of de Maisonneuve, with its unexpectedly good steaks, burgers and pizzas. For a bar, one would expect only finger food and maybe calamari as star offerings, but instead, there are generously portioned meals for very reasonable prices (expect to spend less than $20 per person). The juicy Dundee's Burger is the house's signature dish, the beef patty topped with strips of crispy bacon, grilled mushrooms and caramelized onions. It comes with a generous portion of fries and a salad on the side. Waiters are extremely friendly and chatty. The ambience, warm and comforting, makes it a good place to refuel before heading under the disco ball.
