Krieger's Description:
This Chesterfield Krieger's, once your average sports bar, has changed with the baby boomers and their progeny. Oh, there still are photos of professional athletes and programs from local tournaments. And, yes, there are lots of brews and TVs everywhere. But now there are high chairs and kids' plates and helium balloons, with kids-eat-free deals once a week. It's not unpleasant, mind you---the kids don't trip the waitstaff and they're not nearly as noisy as post-adolescents chug-a-lugging on your average Friday night. Unfortunately, the kitchen's not turning out quite the bar food it did when more Krieger's locations existed. Fans of Provel and cheddar on St. Louis-style pizzas will be gratified to see them in various topping combinations. Then again, the menu here is healthier than it used to be, with wraps and such on the menu, too.
