Riptide Description:
Riptide (and its sister restaurant Chomp in downtown Fullerton) is a more modern rendition of Benihana. You sit at the teppan tables if you want to order the dramatic meat, seafood and rice dishes tossed around acrobatically on flat woks. Besides the drama, there's sushi chef Ken Cruz, who brings on super fresh and delightfully artistic classic sushi and signature fusion rolls. Riptide's menu also includes soups, salads, tempuras and entrées of chicken, pork, beef and seafood. Once the spot for a Hawaiian-themed Sunday brunch, Riptide only offers this all-you-can-eat feast on certain holidays. There's also a very reasonable all-you-can-eat sushi buffet on Thursday evenings.
