Northrop Auditorium Description:

Parking:

Public parking is located south of University Avenue on Church Street in the Nolte and Church Street Garages and the corner of 17th Avenue and 4th Street at the 4th Street Ramp. Please note that 17th Avenue becomes Church Street south of University Avenue. The 2003-2004 event parking rate is $9.00 (subject to change).

General Rules:

No cameras, recording devices, pagers, or smoking.

Due to heightened national security: As a precautionary measure, all patrons attending events at Northrop Auditorium may be subject to personal search, including the inspection of coats and handbags. Backpacks, large purses, and similar items will not be allowed into the auditorium. We apologize for any inconvenience.


Driving direction to Northrop Auditorium:
From the North or South: Take I-35W to the University Avenue/4th Street exit. Go east on University Avenue to 17th Avenue. Turn left (north) on 17th Avenue and proceed 1 1/2 blocks to reach the 4th Street ramp.

From the West: Take I-694 east to I-35W south or take I-394, I-94 or Highway 55 east to I-35W north. Take I-35W to the University Avenue/4th Street exit. Go east on University Avenue to 17th Avenue. Turn left (north) on 17th Avenue and proceed 1 1/2 blocks to reach the 4th Street ramp.

From the East: Take I-94 west to the Huron Boulevard exit. Proceed north, turning left (west) on 4th Street. Take 4th Street to 17th Avenue and turn right (north) on 17th Avenue to reach the 4th Street ramp.
