Driving direction to First Avenue:
From the East on I-94: As you approach Minneapolis, take the 5th Street exit. This street goes one way in the westward direction. Follow it to 1st Avenue North and take a left. First Avenue Nightclub is located 2 blocks south on your left at the corner of 1st Avenue and 7th Street.

From the West on I-94: Take the prohibited vehicle exits, forking to the left to the Lyndale-Hennepin Avenue lanes. At the first stoplight take a left. You are now on Hennepin Avenue. Follow Hennepin Avenue 10 blocks to 7th Street South. Turn left. First Avenue Nightclub is located on your left at the end of the block.

From the South/Mpls-St Paul Airport: Take I-35 toward the downtown exits and take the 11th Street exit. This is a one-way going west. Follow 11th Street to Hennepin Avenue and turn right. Go four blocks north on Hennepin Avenue to 7th Street South and turn left. First Avenue Nightclub is located on your left at the end of the block.

From the North on I-35: Take the Washington Avenue exit. Take a right on Washington Avenue at the stoplight. Follow Washington Avenue 16 blocks to 1st Avenue North. Take a left at 1st Avenue North. Go 5 blocks to 7th Street South. First Avenue Nightclub is located on your left at the corner of 1st Avenue and 7th Street.
