With a hip location, free valet parking and front row seats to watch cars zip along Ft. Union Boulevard, Asian Star appeals on various levels. An attractive interior complete with a massive fish tank nearly compensates for the uninteresting and generic-tasting menu items. Though impressive in its old location on Wasatch Boulevard near Snowbird Ski Resort, Asian Star at this address serves entrées that mostly fall flat. We can recommend a few dishes, like the walnut shrimp, pon pon chicken or the Wong Tong, but most of the meals are under-seasoned and a bit on the pricey side.
