Kate's Diner Description:
An example of a diner, although it is not in the free-standing prefabricated building shaped generally like a railroad dining car that most of us think of when we think of diners. The interior is narrow and elongated just as it would be in a classic example of a diner, with a row of booths to the right and a counter with stools to the left. Just behind the counter is the cook's station where you can watch your order being prepared on the grill located there. The American-style food served here is mainly fried or grilled, and the decor can be described as "50's nostalgia".
