This locally-based chain offers a glimpse into what the world of fast food would be like if only the fare were as high quality and fresh-ingredient-driven as it was fast. Creative light bites and heartier entrées are inspired by Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cuisines but not actually from those countries. Food comes nearly as quickly as at the greasy burger chains, but it contains no preservatives, MSG or trans fats---in fact, little fat at all. We recommend the sprightly "eggselent wraps," which beat breakfast burritos lacking in flavor as well as healthfulness; the custardy borek (a lighter, fresher version of Greek spinach pie); and pides, individual boat-shaped pizzas with thin crusts and a variety of toppings. Desserts are also a treat, and fresh juices, especially tangerine, are standouts. Note: This location is both full service and self service.
