Potpourri Fondue Restaurant Description:
Couples, families and groups of friends are happy to cozy up to a cauldron at this fondue spot. The requisite offering of Swiss and cheddar melted with wine and a hit of spice is on the menu, as are the standard meat courses of chicken, beef, shrimp and scallops. It's not all that ground-breaking, but it can be fun with the right crowd. All dinners include a variety of garden vegetables---broccoli, cauliflower, mushrooms, onions and potatoes---as well as a salad and dinner rolls. For non-fondue fans, the place offers a dozen or so prepared meals, including filet mignon, veal Marsala and fettuccine Alfredo. Dinner would not be complete without the chocolate fondue, into which diners dunk marshmallows, pound cake, banana, pineapple, apple, maraschino cherries and seasonal fresh fruit.
