Vegetarians beware: meat abounds at this Brazil-meets-Texas churrascaria. The dining experience begins with Texas de Brazil's massive salad bar, replete with 40 seasonal vegetables and side dishes. The black beans and farofa, a classic Brazilian dish of African origin that's made from manioc meal, are there, alongside assorted salads and hearts of palm. After diners have their fill of vegetables, carvers (dressed in traditional gaucho garb) bring huge, sword-like skewers of beef, pork, lamb and sausage to the table. For dessert, papayas and cream keep the tastes of Brazil going. The extensive, globally selected wine list offers 20-plus wines by the glass and about 30 half bottles. Chile and Argentina are well represented, and there are some 13 different Argentine Malbecs from which to choose.
