Half Shell Restaurant Description:
For more than 30 years, this laidback bar-and-grill has sated East Memphians' appetites for fresh seafood. Finfish and shellfish are flown in daily to create signature dishes, such as mahi mahi rolled in Greek seasoning or blackened amberjack. Hungry patrons get their fill on the Fat Boy, a seasoned po' boy piled high with blackened shrimp, fried crawfish tails and crispy oysters. The Half Shell's weekend brunch features all the usual breakfast dishes plus New Orleans favorites. The bar stays open every night until 3 a.m. for those who cannot get enough of the place.
