Grove Grill Description:
No other restaurant epitomizes the spirit of East Memphis like the Grove Grill. The neighborhood restaurant is a fine mix of upscale and laidback with white tablecloth service in a casual, friendly setting. Business execs meet up for drinks after hours while couple and families stop in for dinner service. The menu is dependably consistent, with favorites that include classic shrimp and grits, fried green tomatoes with pepper jelly, steaks and wood-grilled tuna with crispy-fried oysters. Of course, there is the beloved "Groveburger," the wood-grilled burger with the usual toppings. While the wine list isn't especially exciting, many selections are available by the glass. Executive chef Jeffrey Dunham remains in charge of the kitchen.
