Parking:

The Arts Centre’s undercover car park is open 24 hours a day 7 days a week. The car park entrance is located at the corner of Sturt and Kavanagh St Southbank (behind the Arts Centre). Car parking for people with disabilities is also available, however, limited spaces are available. Valet parking is available and booking is recommended 24 hrs in advance. **Patrons are advised that the car park fills up early when all venues are operating.

Alternative Car Parking
The Australian Ballet car park is located across the road from the Arts Centre. The entrance is located on Kavanagh St Southbank.

Southbank Car Park, Southgate Avenue, Southbank. Access via City Road or Southgate Avenue.

Public Transportation:

The Arts Centre is a short walk from Melbourne’s main railway station, Flinders Street Station and is easily accessible from the many trams and buses that travel along St Kilda Road.

RESTAURANTS & DINING

"EQ Cafebar"

Caters to a variety of tastes and provides relaxed riverside dining with great city views. Located at Southbank alongside Hamer Hall.
Open: Monday to Friday 7:30am until late
Saturday and Sunday 8:30am until late.


"Curve Bar"
Curve bar is an exciting space operating from Monday to Saturday. Located on street level within the Theatres building (under the spire).
Open: Monday to Thursday 4pm - 1am
Friday & Saturday 4pm - 3am.

"Foyer Bars"
Located within the foyer of each of the theatres within the Arts Centre.
Open from one hour prior to each performance.

Smoking - In the interests of Public health, the Arts Centre is a Smoke-Free environment.
