This Old House Description:

Parking:

Designer Show House does not have parking on site. Complimentary parking and shuttle bus service is provided for you for the event.

• Plan to arrive at the designated parking lots at least one hour prior to your time to allow time to get to the site.

• Shuttle service runs approximately every 15 minutes.

• Late arrivals will tour at the first available opening.

Parking is available weekdays at Carlisle Congregational Church, 147 School St., Carlisle, and weekends at Carlisle School, 83 School St., Carlisle. Please follow directional signs to appropriate parking lots. Carlisle Public Schools (83 School St) to This Old House.

Both parking facilities are adjacent to each other. Please follow directional signs to appropriate parking lots.

General Rules:

No food/drink or picknicking on property. Please be prepared for all weather conditions.

Miscellaneous:

Drinks and light snacks will be sold in the souvenir shop . Portajohn facilities only, including one handicapped unit. No restrooms available in house or at parking lots.

From the North:

RT 3 South

Exit 28 toward Carlisle

Treble Cove Rd. becomes Maple Street

Maple Street becomes East Street

Right onto 225/Bedford Rd.

Follow Route 225 all the way through Bedford. When you reach Carlisle Center, there will be a small traffic rotary – you'll see a Bank of America nearby. Looking at the traffic circle like a clock, you'll enter at 6. Follow the rotary around to about 10, and take that road off the circle – this is School Street. There will be This Old House signs on this road; the Carlisle Schools will be on your right.


From the West:

495 North

Exit 32, RT 225

Take ramp towards RT 110/Littleton/RT 225 Groton

Boston Rd. becomes Carlisle Rd.

Continue on 225 to Carlisle Center where there will be a small traffic rotary – you'll see a Bank of America nearby. Looking at the traffic circle like a clock, you'll enter at 6. Follow the rotary briefly to your first right (around 4 o'clock), and take that road off the circle – this is School Street. There will be This Old House signs on this road; the Carlisle Schools will be on your right.


From Boston:

93 North to I-95 South

Exit 31B, RT 225 toward Bedford

Follow Route 225 all the way through Bedford. When you reach Carlisle Center, there will be a small traffic rotary – you'll see a Bank of America nearby.
