Out past the Burlington Mall, this branch of the local Italian chain is frequented by suburban shoppers and their families. Elegant salads and designer pizzas put the Cal before the Ital, while an extensive selection of cream- and butter-laden pastas and the usual veal chops and chicken cutlets put the true-blue American after it. Still, it could be much worse than pedestrian; reliability and friendliness have kept this franchise afloat.
