Bleu Description:
This little bistro is surprisingly traditional. Dressed up in multiple hues of its namesake color, Bleu offers the simple, French fare you might expect to find in Paris or Dijon. Chef-owner Frederic Feufeu trained in Brittany then honed his skills in London and New York before settling on the Cape. Offering lunch and dinner year-round, Feufeu's menus specialize in bistro standards such as escargots, moules and rillettes. The occasional dish, like a seared ahi, shows a touch of Asian flair, but for the most part, the dining experience at Bleu offers a journey through France. We particularly like the cassoulet and, when they are offered as a special, the frogs' legs. The wine list offers a lovely selection of French imports and a surprising variety of dessert wines.
