Maryland State Fairgrounds Description:

Parking:

Limited parking is available on the Fairgrounds for $3. Free parking is available at the Park and Ride location on Deereco Road, West of the Fairgrounds. Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Handicapped parking is available. Please see the fairgrounds parkers, and they will direct you to the appropriate and closest handicapped parking area.

Public Transportation:

Because convenient parking is limited, we encourage the use of the Light Rail.

General Rules:

The Maryland State Fair reserves the right to alter carry-in policies at any time.

All persons and their camera bags, purses and all containers entering The Maryland State Fairgrounds and/or Racetrack Infield are subject to direct physical search, or indirect search by wand or magnetometers.

Persons entering the facility may be subject to search for contraband, cameras, video equipment, recording devices, etc., which are expressly forbidden on facility premises and subject to confiscation.

The Maryland State Fair reserves the right, without any refund of the ticket purchase price, to refuse admission to or eject any person whose conduct is deemed by The Maryland State Fair to be disorderly, who is in possession of drugs, or who is under the age of 21 and possesses alcohol.

Permitted Items:
Blankets, Cellular Phones, Cameras (up to 35mm), Camcorders, Binoculars, Sunscreen, Strollers.

The Following Items are NOT permitted in the Racetrack Infield:
Food or beverages purchased outside of the fairgrounds, Liquor or Drugs of any kind, Weapons of any kind, Guns, Knives, Fireworks, Explosives, Glass Containers of any type, Bottles, Cans, Coolers, Backpacks, Large Bags, Thermoses, Tents, Grills, Ladders, Scaffolding or other raised devices, Bulk or oversized carrying devices, Handcarts, Wheeled Carts, Lawn Chairs, Umbrellas, Wagons, In-Line Skates, Skateboards, Kites, Frisbees, Laser Pointers, Pets, Radios or Recording Devices.

Driving direction to Maryland State Fairgrounds:
From points South, East and West: I-83 North to Exit 17 - East Padonia Rd., bear Right off of Exit, Right (south) on York Road to Fairgrounds on right.
From points North: I-83 South to Exit 17 - East Padonia Rd., Left at light, Right (south) on York Road to Fairgrounds on right.
