Fishery Description:
Louisvillians are passionate about cornmeal-crusted fried fish sandwiches and The Fishery fries a fine one, made with codfish, each to order. You'll find catfish, oysters and shrimp cooked this way, too. Patrons put their orders in at the counter in front of the kitchen, and wait to pick up bagged meals at the hatch by the small dining area. A few tables outside are popular in good weather. Side orders of clam chowder, fries, onion rings and mac 'n' cheese pair well with the fried fish, served on a choice of rye or white bread. Soft drinks and bottled beer are the beverage choices.
