Shin Jung Restaurant Description:
It's far from fancy, looking rather like a diner with hood fans to trap smoke from the tabletop barbecues, but this place in a busy Korean mini-mall is a workhorse and local favorite. Try bulgoki (grilled strips of beef), dak bulgoki (grilled strips of chicken) or a wonderful sanchae bibimbap (a huge bowl of assorted vegetables and beef with rice that could provide all one's nutritional requirements). If you order two or more barbecue dishes, you can cook them yourself at your table, otherwise they'll grill them in the kitchen. Shin Jung's panchan, assorted little plates of side dishes, rivals any in town. Lunch specials are a great deal.
