Black Dog Coffee Description:
Known as the place for lunch in the Mid-Wilshire area, it is the only place for the local office crowd to get fast, creative cuisine at lunchtime. The tables aren't the most comfortable, the service not the most efficient and the prices aren't the most affordable, but the restaurant does offer an interesting array of sandwiches and salads, like goat cheese and tomato on a fresh Michette roll or the beef salad with arugula and balsamic. This is also the only place in the neighborhood where you can find soymilk to go with your coffee, which is, as the name would imply, an excellent cup of joe.
