Versailles Description:
You may well spot a line stretching out the door and into the small parking lot when you come to Versailles, but the line moves surprisingly quickly and the food is definitely worth the wait. The large menu covers a range of Cuban and Latin dishes, but look around and you'll see that virtually every table has one or more plates of the house specialty: a lethal and delicious garlic chicken. The half bird outsizes full chickens offered at fast food places, and it comes with rice, beans and fried plantains. There's also plenty of pork and a paella Valenciana. The latter dish, unlike others that fly out of the kitchen, requires 45 minutes of preparation. Prices are very reasonable, even for the wines offered by the glass, which are typically from South America. There's also a small selection of beer, both domestic and imported, and many regulars end the meal with a shot of espresso---the sole caffeine option as they do not serve brewed coffee. For dessert, there's flan.
