To start, there are fried beef and yam balls, plus lamb cakes seasoned with cinnamon, ginger and coriander. Try the doro wot (a rich, spicy chicken stew), or the milder lamb stew with garlic and ginger. No matter what you order, expect to scoop up the ingredients with spongy injera, a soft and slightly sour Ethiopian flatbread. For vegetarians, Rosalind offers compelling dishes like lentils in spicy red pepper sauce and steamed collard greens with garlic and green pepper.
