Second Street in Belmont Shore may be one of the best nightlife areas in greater Los Angeles, a lively, eclectic neighborhood that has a lot going on. La Crêperie is a mainstay, a place that is permanently packed but always seems to be able to manage one more table for new arrivals. The diverse menu includes pastas, chicken entrées, seafood and osso buco. The Belgian-style mussels are a hit, as is the Friday night special of bouillabaisse. Owner Patrick Parmentier is a constant presence, greeting regulars with a smile and a glass of pastis.

The crepes at La Creperie Cafe are scrumptious. The Jambalaya and Au Bon Curry crepes are personal favorites. The ambiance of La Creperie is also very special whether as a guest you are admiring the decor or whether your night is graced with live music. This place is definitely worth a stop.
