Numidie Description:
Numidie takes its name from the area of North-East Africa that was known as Numidia. The Berber cuisine on offer includes regional specialities such as tagines with couscous, and merguez in harissa sauce. The restaurant caters for about 40 covers and has an interesting array of shabby-chic furniture and decorative objects. The atmosphere is very friendly and the head chef, replete with beret and stripey shirt, will occasionally entertain diners with French and Berber songs. A bar is located in the basement. Booking is recommended.
