Crown and Goose Description:
The Crown & Goose suits an area to which the young flock for the music scene in the evenings. Friendly staff work hard and cheerfully, serving generous portions of mix-and-match cuisine, like tempura vegetables with duck egg and truffle dressing, a char-grilled venison burger with red currant jelly, Brie and chips, and steak with all the trimmings. There are good bar snacks too. The music gets loud in the evenings; this is not the place for the retiring.
