Tokyo Diner Description:
London's first cheap Japanese eatery is still one of the best and keeps its competitive prices. Donburi dishes (chicken, pork or salmon served on rice), curries, sushi, sashimi, bento lunch boxes---all are here and all are great value. Beware the wasabi; it's very strong. Drinks are equally as cheap. Tips are not accepted. At such prices something has to give, and, dear diner, it may be you---if you are long or large---for tables and chairs are minuscule. But they fit the authentic décor and layout of this three-storey warren of tiny rooms. Set lunches range from £6.50 to £10.60 but are also £1 less from 3pm-6pm, bless them.
