The Iranian owner and his Iranian chef present a menu evenly divided between Indian and Persian cuisines. Indian dishes are well executed if conventional, and national pride is more evident in Persian specialties. Lamb or chicken kebabs are accompanied by saffron rice, while many other Persian dishes, however romantically named, are basically stews, which is high praise. The restaurant is furnished in Middle Eastern style. The wine list is wide ranging. But the expense is high and the cooking does not justify it.
