Hampstead seems to be an area cursed with mediocre cafés, but Giraffe is an agreeable deviation from the norm. The brightly lit interior has chirpy staff that plays world music CDs and serves global, vegetarian-oriented dishes at fair prices. You can just drop in for a fruit juice or coffee or have a full meal with wine. Prices are low, too, which is probably why Giraffe doesn't attract the conspicuously gilded youth that crowd every other café on Rosslyn Hill.
