Bank Westminster stretches from the busy Zander Bar into a glassed-in conservatory at the back that looks out onto a peaceful fountain and paved garden. The restaurant caters to the local business clientele at lunchtime, while the conservatory at the back is booked by couples in the evening. The menu is wide, with dishes running from fish 'n' chips to grilled swordfish with chilli beans and guacamole, from oysters to breast of chicken grilled with Malayan spices, sweet potato, coconut and lime. The catch-all approach generally works well. The cooking is not spectacular, just very reliable. The long bar attracts the after-office crowd.
