Movida Description:
It's glitzy, glossy and big, with a bar that twinkles with a thousand lights built into the vaults of the London Palladium. The DJs play house, dance, R & B and chart; the clientele is a complete mix of celebs and girls wanting to dance, boys having fun, lots of East Europeans and all ages. Drinks are expensive, but the clientele manages to drink a fair bit. There is a door policy (and a £20 admission charge) but if you look right and book in advance you'll get in. The food is a mix of Asian and European and not bad, but the restaurant is rather an afterthought. You must book in advance.
