White Chocolate Grill Description:
The menu---and the friendly ambience---keeps diners coming back to the Black Pepper Grill, which used to be the White Chocolate Grill. Rich cherry wood is featured throughout the two dining rooms, the first one also housing the exhibition kitchen with hunter-green tile, a rotisserie oven, leather booth seating, soft lighting and a comfortable atmosphere. The lively adjoining room features a ten-seat bar backed by TV screens and a colorful display of wine and liquor bottles facing stadium-style seating. The creamy tomato-gin soup with mushrooms and bacon is a specialty. We also like the rare sesame-crusted ahi with sesame-citrus-soy dressing; the grilled chicken salad with field greens, goat cheese, toasted almonds, golden raisins, red onion, tomato, croutons, balsamic vinaigrette and yogurt sauce; and the burger with Maytag blue cheese and bacon. Oven-roasted cedar plank salmon with a honey-soy glaze, grilled and smoked barbecued baby-back ribs and Parmesan-crusted filet mignon are among entrée winners. Desserts include white chocolate raspberry cheesecake and a white chocolate brownie.
