Freakin Frog Description:
Wine, beer and food connoisseur and UNLV hotel school professor Adam Carmer's Freakin' Frog is a charming place to wile away the hours in the casual first-floor bar-restaurant or the elegant second-floor Whisky Attic. The upstairs space comes complete with a collection of 500 whiskies and a 12-by-nine-foot movie screen and is where members dine and private banquets abound. The café boasts more than 700 beers and about 75 wines. Among Carmer's fare is the signature Lisa's Lucipher burger with raw onion, maple bacon and Swiss cheese, served with Freakin' fries. We also like the "prosciutto bomb," a Sicilian pepper stuffed prosciutto and provolone then marinated in oil and herbs, and Adam's Freakin' chili, created with ground beef, chorizo, maple bacon, beer and spices, served with fresh tortilla chips, cheese and onions. Save room for Jillie's apple pie and relax with a cup of Kona Single Estate French press coffee. Live jazz is featured on Mondays, bluegrass on Thursdays and a hip pianist on Fridays.
