The first micro-brewery in the valley's northwest, Tenaya Creek features paintings by Nevada artists on the bronze-hued walls and dark green granite tabletops. Velvety homemade hummus is served with oven-baked flatbread brushed with olive oil and herbs; bruschetta is topped with tomatoes, garlic, basil and shaved Parmesan with a balsamic reduction. The brewpub fare runs from chicken wings and crispy Asian chicken salad to a buffalo burger, pizzas, pastas, ribs and fresh fish. In addition to beer, Tenaya Creek makes its own root beer, which makes for one terrific root beer float.
