Super Mex Restaurant Description:
High arched doorways lead into the modern, terra cotta-hued 75-seat eatery flanked by a friendly 40-seat bar and a private room that can seat 100. All of the traditional combination dishes and à la carte selections one would expect in a Mexican eatery are offered, plus a lite menu that includes an appealing whole-wheat quesadilla with low-fat cheese, sour cream, guacamole and pico de gallo. Among appetizers, we like the shrimp Caesar salad with Parmesan. Among our favorite entrées are beef chile Colorado in a zesty red sauce, and the carne asada, both served with rice, beans and tortillas. Varieties of beer and margaritas complement the fare. The extensive breakfast menu, served 24 hours, includes chorizo with eggs and Mexican omelets.
