The general theme of rock 'n' roll memorabilia that is the raison d'être of the Hard Rock Hotel permeates this 24/7 restaurant. The booths of tiger-striped fabric that would be perfect on any lead singer's costume and the wood floors that remind one of 1950s-era bowling alleys continue the fantasy. For breakfast, huge omelets filled with an array of choices are served with toast or English muffins and a mound of hash browns, as are the 16-ounce T-bone steaks with three eggs. We like the hearty mesquite barbecue plate---barbecue-roasted chicken and a half-slab of baby-back ribs with baked beans and a corn muffin---and spaghetti with meatballs, plum-tomato sauce, Parmesan and griddled garlic bread. Like other 24-hour restaurants on the Strip, Mr. Lucky's offers Asian dishes such as pad Thai and curried Singapore noodles. Even the hot fudge sundaes and banana splits are enough for two, plus there is a red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting.
