Nopalito Restaurant Description:
Opened July 1st, 1964 and at this location since 1968. Second location at 2605 Missouri, Las Cruces. Everything you would expect to see on a Mexican restaurant's menu including chili relleno, menudo and flautas. The website says they're famous for their green chili. They have a simple Southwest decor, ceiling fans, no gaudy Mariachi hats on the wall, nothing looks forced. Layout is eight booths and about 20 tables for 4-8 persons. Pleasantly quiet, you could easily carry on an intimate conversation despite the dining room big screen TV.
