Move on to more family-friendly dining upstairs or downstairs; both spaces have a view of the soothing Spinney Creek, the source of some of those oysters. If you've come to touristy Kittery alone, grab a seat at the common table and get to know the locals. You may try updated New England fare such as grilled tuna with white beans and leeks. Of course, all the fried favorites are also available, including crisp fish 'n' chips; we also recommend the lobster stew.
