Sloppy Joe's Description:
One of the most celebrated watering holes on the very wet island, Sloppy Joe's is rumored to be where Hemingway drank most. Its Hemingway memorabilia displays include hundreds of candid photos of him and newspaper clips from his years in Key West. On a huge stage, local musicians jam from sunset to sunrise, and about two hundred tables are crammed into the festive room. Such standard Keys bar noshes as wings and conch fritters are available. Chase 'em with a vodka-spiked Key West lemonade. Or brave a Hemingway Hammer, fueled by Bacardi 151. Heartier appetites can sample the original Sloppy Joe sandwich with a slice of Key lime pie for dessert.
