Review :
This past weekend, the 2 Vancouver Aussie rules footy clubs went to Kelowna for a footy tournament. After the long and very hot day on the field, about 40 of us went to Cattle Country for a good old feed. The organization from the staff of the restaurant seemed very professional but it didn't take long until things started to fall apart. I'm not having a big dig at this restaurant, but I truly felt like the staff didn't care about of its guests. I ordered the 10oz Sirloin steak with some roast potatoes and vege's. The food was VERY good, I've never had such a good meal in my life. They had a salad bar which was ok. Now you may be asking why I'm rating the service so low for this restaurant. Well my mate ordered his steak with pasta instead of potatoes. After 40 minutes of waiting for our food, his plate came and it had potatoes on it and the server said to him "oh sorry this is all we have". We asked why he didn't just tell us they were out and if we could change our mind of what to order. Another issue was the beer. We'd order some pints of 15/16 beer and they'd bring out Pale Ales. This happened more than once. So in conclusion to my experience at Cattle Country - The food was awesome, and the service could of been a little bit better. The price was ok, my bill came to $35 with tip for a huge meal and 2 beers.
