I ate here a while ago and one of the owners (or manager or whatever) was screeeeeeeeching at her kitchen staff at the top of her lungs! i couldn't believe how unprofessional it was. i used to love this place and after that experience i would feel way too uncomfortable to go back. the quality of food is still great but i couldn't enjoy it knowing how miserable the person who made it probably was.

I ate tonight at Sanbiki and it was great. To find this good a japanese restaurant outside Vancouver or Victoria was a pleasant surprise. It's a little bit expensive but what the hell you have got to drive the fish all the way from the ocean to Kamloops. Better than anything in Kelowna or anywhere in the interior period.

Sanbiki is by far the best japanese restaurant in Kamloops. They have a great selection of japanese food including ample vegetarian dishes. Great food, friendly staff, well priced, and they try to fresh and local products. Would suggest this restaurant to anyone!
