From the early morning hours this spot is populated with hungry surfers, workers on lunch break, and visitors en route to the airport. The substantial sandwiches and salads are made to order, with quality ingredients, by a young and friendly staff. The vibe is college-casual and it makes for a relaxed, quintessential Maui experience. There are several tables inside amidst the signed posters of local surf stars, but take-out and catering is also available. Daily specials are offered, including a year-round "holiday" sub with turkey and cranberry on a freshly baked roll, as well as the standout sub with turkey, hot bacon and avocado.
