Step into this restaurant and step onto the set of a Rat Pack movie. The gentlemen's club décor, Frank Sinatra soundtrack and carts loaded with slabs of aged, raw beef, whole fish and lobsters give the place a swell, haute-retro ambience. If you feel you were born a decade too late or just want the grand steakhouse experience, by all means make a reservation. But be warned, there are much cheaper ways to enjoy a good steak. If you do succumb, go for broke and start with the broiled sea scallops and have your filet mignon with a béarnaise sauce and a side of mashed potatoes. Morton's ultra-creamy spuds are worth the cholesterol spike. Wild mushrooms to share are another nice touch. Finish with the chocolate soufflé of chocolate, raspberry, Grand Marnier and lemon.
