Trattoria Losanna Description:
The Trattoria Losanna is a traditional trattoria close to the south bank of the river Tanaro between Asti and Alessandria. The ambiance in rustic yet elegant, and the cuisine is entirely local Piedmontese.
Specialities include carne cruda, the famous agnelloti del plin - a type of miniature hand-made ravioli - and the crisp bread usually called "mother-in-law's tongues", but here called lingue di Rocchetta Tanaro (Rochetta Tanaro tongues) in defiance of Masio's up-river rival.
