On the flat land between Dallas and the regional airport, landscape engineers created a flowing creek bed to frame the entrance to this Texas-size eating and drinking establishment. Game lodge meets trendy pool hall here: the cavernous bar and billiard rooms are decked out with TV screens and wildlife trophies. No adventures in eating, but if you want solid steak and seafood, a reasonably rowdy atmosphere and like to indulge in a cigar after dinner, this is your place. The cowboy rib-eye with your choice of salad or the delta blues barbecue ribs with french fries both satisfy the hunger for a rustic and satisfying meal. If you feel mischievous, try the diablo helado for dessert.

I have been here two times and both visits have been great. They have a great cigar lounge with leather couches, a huge HD TV-screen, and a ton of beer on tap. The fine dining side of the restaurant has white table cloth service with a wine list that has lots of good values. I love Stag's Leap Cabernet Sauvignon and it's $99 here. I had the filet both trips and it was very tender. I can't wait for my next trip into town.
