Gulliver's Description:
Old English-style restaurants are few and far between in OC, so Gulliver's has a longstanding reputation as both a pub and restaurant with eighteenth-century England appeal. Located directly across from John Wayne Airport, Gulliver's delights the eye with its leaded glass and pewter everywhere. Of course, this restaurant is known for its three cuts of charbroiled prime rib, creamed corn, duck à l'orange, veal Oscar, rack of lamb, Châteaubriand and baby-back ribs. The steaks are thick and juicy and the Yorkshire pudding adds just the right authentic Olde English touch as do the costumed serving wenches. Popular with large parties, the eatery also serves an extensive lunch menu, the highlights of which are the prime rib sandwich and the shrimp and crab Louie and ahi salads.
