A mouthwatering display of shiny little pastries is the first thing you notice upon entering this place. There are hand-frosted cookies, cheddar twists and the oddly named rumbles, tart-like pastries that come in different flavors and are the signature item. Just about everything on the menu here is served in a pastry shell. In the morning, there are savory breakfast quiches and breakfast sandwiches. On the lunch and dinner menu, everything from cracked black pepper steak to pesto chicken to kung pao chicken comes in a light crust. The service is friendly, the dining room is sparkling clean and the Peet's coffee is strong enough to make your hair stand up.
