Zing Description:
Sharing is the norm at Zing, and it's a popular place to stop for an appetizer and martini before a game. Couples come, too, to order several dishes for dinner. The v-shaped, historic downtown building---wedged between two busy intersections---offers a snazzy New Orleans-style balcony for outside dining, with a striking view of the Indianapolis skyline. Roasted shrimp atop a sweet corn cake with chorizo sausage-specked tomato sauce is almost too good to share. Ditto the shrimp and ginger wontons. That said, the chicken with artichokes and pistachios in a garlic butter sauce is so generous, there is plenty to go around---or take home. Whatever your favorite drink, you can be sure the bartenders turn it out.
