Euphoria Description:
Perched on the third floor of the historic Buggs Temple, a former church, on the downtown canal, Euphoria offers terrific views of downtown Indianapolis. The surroundings---white tablecloths and high ceilings---set the stage for a fine dinner. Servers eagerly suggest wines and dishes from the edited, seasonal menu showcasing chef Brad Gates' culinary strengths. His creativity starts with the duck confit with spears of roasted asparagus and extends to seared halibut and morel mushrooms. A good judge of a chef's skill is in how they do a simple dish of roast chicken, and Gates' version with Dijon-herb reduction certainly cuts the mustard. When there's no time for a full dinner or the budget needs to stretch, try the bar bites---there are plenty of good, affordable options.
