Blue Gate Restaurant and Bakery Description:
A restaurant in the small town of Shipshewana, which is located in the heart of a large Amish community in northern Indiana. The restaurant is intended to provide food for the large numbers of visitors to the town, and advertises itself as providing traditional Amish homecooking.

The members of you party can either individually order from the menu or the entire party can choose to eat "family style". If you choose "family style" platters of fried chicken and either chuck roast or smoked ham, along with bowls of dressing, mashed potatoes, gravy, vegetables, and noodles are placed on the table so that you can serve yourselves. Also included are salads, beverages and deserts.
