Das Dutchman Essenhaus Description:
Indiana's largest family-style restaurant, known for its Amish and Mennonite home-style cooking. Featured are entrees like broasted chicken, roast beef, and baked steak, with real mashed potatoes, rich homemade gravy, made-from-scratch noodles, and more.
Customers may choose to have each person individually order from the menu, or the whole group may decide to share a family-style dinner.
The family-style dinners consist of chicken and, if you choose, 1 or 2 other meats. Included with the meat are real mashed potatoes, rich pan gravy, homemade bread dressing, homemade noodles, a vegetable (corn or green beans), tossed salad, fresh baked white or whole wheat bread with Amish peanut butter and apple butter. One beverage and one dessert are included for each member of your group.
Reservations are only accepted for parties of 15 or more.
